You are much better off creating an ACCURATE title for your sites with a couple of good keywords. Keep this in mind the next time you build! DMOZ Daily Tip 02: Sooo, if you have 20 sites and they all are being submitted to several different categories, you should be fine. If it's to the same category...spread them out to ensure your submissions will not be seen as spam! Hope this helps! DMOZ Daily Tip 03: If your site didn't get in, and you add more pics, or remove ads...let them know in the descrip field! They will appreciate it. ;o) DMOZ Daily Tip 04: Make sure you have no other links on the page that say 'enter' either alone, or with other words unless it clearly states that that particular enter link goes to a paysite...ie: 'Enter for your trial membership' or some such... Remember, if an editor with some experience surfing adult
sites can't find your enter link, most likely the surfers won't be able
to find it either...and thus the dreaded delete button could be hit
by the editor. ;o) DMOZ Daily Tip 05: Don't worry about there not being an editor listed in a particular category. Editors that edit in the 'parent' categories see all submissions in the cat they are listed AND below. ;o) This will help with the speed of your submissions as if you submit it to the proper category, the editors won't have to move it around in unreviewed, wasting time... ;o) DMOZ Daily Tip 06: Descriptions: When you submit your site, make sure that the description is within guidelines. Don't keyword stuff, and make sure the description accurately reflects the content on the site. Why? When I, as an editor, attempt to tackle a fairly large unreviewed category, I will go straight for the submissions that *I DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE*! ;o) By doing this, you are helping out the editor. Less time for the editor to have to fool around, makes for a better chance of your site being picked out of hundreds for inclusion. ;o) If you are nice to the editors....they will be nice to you. ;o) |
